Chelsea’s hierarchy has placed a mouth-watering £100million price tag on France international N’Golo Kante, if he’s to leave the club this summer, as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be eyeing move for him this summer, according to Goal.

The British tabloid claims the oil-riched backed club are considering inserting Adrien Rabiot in any deal that would see Kante join PSG, who Chelsea now valued at £100million.
It is believed the Les Parisiens, now under former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel as their new manager, have made the signing of Kante their top priority this summer, and are willing to offer him a deal worth £220,000-a-week.
Kante, who stands at 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in), leaving Chelsea is absolutely not a good deal. The former Leicester City defensive midfielder is one of the best players in the world having won the EPL title back to back with the Foxes and Chelsea respectively.
The stability and control Kante provide at the midfield is such a rare commodity, and one no sum of money is going to guarantee what he brings.

Rabiot, however, is a fine player and will continue to grow, but then the Frenchman is not comparable to his compatriot, and selling Kante to receive £100million below plus Rabiot would not serve a good replacement for the Blues either.
Although depending PSG is in his homeland, Kante himself might fancy plying his trade in France having won almost everything there is to win in England and with the French’s club interest in his looks very genuine, it could be a done deal after the World Cup ends.
But still, Chelsea cannot afford to lose Kante’s services this summer, despite the reported £100million plus Adrien Rabiot, as they would be left with nobody to replace the Frenchman. Although, Kante’s move to PSG would serve as a “record-transfer” for the Blues.
Kante joining PSG would make the team a formidable one with the club already completing move for Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon, whilst having the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani, Thiago Silva, Julian Draxler, and Neymar Jr in their ranks.
