Sarri wants £200 million man at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea expecting world record move

Fresh reports have again claimed Real Madrid will offer Chelsea £200 million to let Ede Hazard depart this month.

Despite the English transfer window closing on 9th August, the La Liga transfer window is open until the end of the month and that means the Spaniards can still sign Hazard if the price is right.

Now, according to the Express, Julen Lopetegui’s side have increased their valuation from £150m to around £200m and hope to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu.

Madrid signed Hazard’s international teammate Thibaut Courtois last week and he has spoken of his desire for his new club to recruit the 27-year-old.

He Said: “Hazard is very happy that I am here, he is a great player and I would like to be always at his side.

‘Let’s see what happens in the future, if he can come, it would be fantastic.


‘Today I am realizing a dream. This is the best club in the world.’

But Sarri is determined not to lose another star player this summer and has admitted that Hazard ‘is happy’ and will not be sold over the next month.

“Hazard is with us. It’s not a problem,” said Sarri on the BBC website.

“I have spoken with him three, four times, for everything. He never said anything about the market. He’s very happy to stay here.

“Here the market is closed, so we cannot change important players now. It’s impossible.”

Los Blancos have been linked with the Blues star for several years and are currently still on the hunt for a Galactico signing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, they will do well to praise Hazard away from the club with the fact Sarri cannot replace his star man.
