Maurizio Sarri is finally set to be named Chelsea manager next week and wants to bring in four key players this summer, according to reports in Italy.
There has been constant speculation that Antonio Conte is set to leave the Blues this summer despite two successful seasons in charge, winning the Premier League in his first campaign and then the FA Cup last month.
However, Conte has remained to be the head coach of the club, even though Sarri was replaced by former Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti and Sarri is without a club.
Complications remain, though, with Chelsea failing to pay the €8m buyout clause in the Italian's contract which expired last week, while Laurent Blanc was also being lined up as a potential candidate.
However, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Sportitalia, and more Italian publications, the final negotiations from Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia are set to be completed this week and the Blues will have a new manager.

That will mean some compensation for Conte, who could get a payout of around £9m with the current boss still having one year left on his contract.
However, the Italian is reportedly on the list of Real Madrid candidates to take over from Zinedine Zidane who shocked everyone by stepping down from the role after three Champions League title wins in a row.
That might mean that Chelsea can avoid paying out for Conte to leave, should Madrid really go after the former Italy national team head coach.
Kalidou Koulibaly in action
More reports from Italy suggest that if Sarri does come to Chelsea then he wants to bring four players with him this summer.
