This Player Has Won My Heart’ – Jose Mourinho To Make Move For This Prolific ‘World Cup’ Star

Saturday, June 16, 2018

Russia poster boy Aleksandr Golovin seems to have won Mourinho’s heart with his wonderful performance against Saudi Arabia in their World Cup opening match on Thursday.

The Russian number 17 was everywhere on the pitch throughout the encounter as the host nation put five goals past their Asian opponents.

The 22-year-old was impressive for CSKA during last season and he has continued from where he stopped, helping the Russian side to a convincing win in front of their fans.

Having seen his display throughout the encounter, Jose Mourinho, who currently works as a pundit, is reportedly thinking of making move for the youngster before many clubs begin to show interest.

Juventus are also in the race to capture his signature having failed to lure him to Turin during the previous transfer period.

The Serie A Champions have already tabled a €20m (£17.4m) bid for the player but it was rejected by the Russian side, who wants an improved offer during this summer.

Should Golovin continue his inspiring display with the Russian national team, he would surely have more suitors willing to capture his signature.

He would also see his market value increased by CSKA hierarchy, who would want to gain more money from his sale.
